When the war finally came to a close Paris was once again the centre of international fashion. Many people wanted to get married after the war and so Couture Houses enjoyed a boom in trade as a huge demand for wedding dresses presented itself.
Back in business, Chanel launched her own scent. This was the birth of Chanel No.5.
